There is More | Daniel Macleod | Acts 2:1-41

Have you ever wondered if there is more to following Jesus? In this sermon, we explore the promise of the Holy Spirit and discover that God has so much more for us than we have yet experienced.

Drawing from Acts 2, Daniel reminds us that the Holy Spirit is not an optional extra for a certain type of Christian, but God's gift to empower His people to live boldly, grow in their faith, and fulfil His mission on the earth. We also explore what it means to hunger for God's presence, receive the power of the Holy Spirit, and live with a fresh desire for all that He has for us.

In this sermon we discover:

• Why there is always more to discover in our relationship with God.
• The promise of the baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit.
• How the Holy Spirit brings the Bible to life and deepens our understanding of God's Word.
• The role of spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, in our walk with God.
• How the Holy Spirit empowers us for bold witness, evangelism, and global mission.
• Why spiritual hunger and desire matter as we draw near to God.
• How to seek Jesus and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with faith and expectation.
