What do you do when something you poured your heart into is burned, rejected, or seems to have completely failed?
In Jeremiah 36, God tells Jeremiah to write down 25 years of prophecy on a scroll. Jeremiah and Baruch spend months faithfully putting God's words onto the page—only for King Jehoiakim to cut the scroll into pieces and throw it into the fire.
But the story doesn't end there.
God's response to Jeremiah is simple: “Take another scroll.”
This powerful message explores what it means to remain faithful when our efforts don't produce the response we hoped for. Through Jeremiah, Baruch, Micaiah, Jehoiakim, and ultimately Jesus, we discover a story of obedience, courage, perseverance, repentance, and new beginnings.
